MiG-15 around then as well. not so much interested in flying the MiG-15 as I am having something to shoot at in MP with the Sabre

VEAO's roadmap certainly makes me drool, let's hope this Hawk buisness hasn't put them behind, although they said they have a ton of people working on different projects.
DCS Warbirds Collection Curtiss P-40F - December 2014 * Grumman F8F Bearcat – February 2015 * Supermarine Spitfire Mk XIV – April 2015 * HA-1112 Buchon - May 2015 * Hawker Typhoon – Q3 2015 Grumman Wildcat – Q4 2015 Dehaviland Mosquito Mk IV Dehaviland Mosquito Mk XVI Messerchmitt Me109T Supermarine Seafire 17 Hawker Sea Hurricane Hawker Sea Hawk Curtiss Hawk 75 Curtiss P-40C Focke Wulf FW190A-8 / F-8 Messerschmitt Bf109-E4 North American A-36 Apache Douglass DC3 North American T-28 Fennec
Really been digging the Sabre, easy to use, yet still requires enough elbow grease to make it fun. The newer jets well, feel like you'd imagine a jet would, the Sabre, it flies a lot more like a ww2 prop just without the prop. Plus start-up and take-off are super easy. Anyway, that has me interested in the MiG-15Bis as well. I filled up the hangar the other week during the sale, well, everything but those two russian helicopters. Hopefully with EDGE MP servers will operate better/smoother. I sometimes get lag on the DoW server with a ping in the low 40's.

Some of them are very cool but why HA-1112 Buchon, Messerchmitt Me109T? I can see the other navy planes if they get a carrier for them, but the 109T didn't have a carrier and the Spanish post WW2 109? The Fw 190 A-8 is one I'd like to see and the Wildcat..oh that would be a blast!
EDIT oh I guess the Spanish did have them in WW2.

To answer the question of the thread, I am going to have to wait. The P47 is the purchase that I deem most important to me, so the 109K will have to wait until some time after I get the P47.
I was this close to passing up on the P51, to make sure I could get the P47.

Well with all the navy planes I can see the 109T, just because, somewhere on there they said why. But the easier one to answer is the Buchon, they can still get their hands on the originals, they were used in the BoB movie and one of the guys took a bunch of them in lieu of payment for the movie, not to shabby a deal now, but they are copies of either the G-2 or G-6, forget which one.

here is that answer... We realise that not everything will appeal to everyone however I was thinking long and hard about carrier ops for that kind of period. With the lack of German naval aircraft it was this or an Arado really and lets face it no one wants to fly an Arado do they You only have to go into the Virtual Aerobatics server and see how many people try and land every single aircraft on a carrier, so I thought well if they are going to do that then they might as well have the naval version of the Bf109E to do it with Pman So in otherwords, it's the 109T cause no one wants to fly the arado lol

oh and just since i came across this, a little more on why the 109T
The reason for the 109T is that it is close to the 109E4 which we will be doing as an opponent to the early Spitfire and the Hurricane. It is also as correctly pointed out a carrier aircraft, contrary to popular belief although the Graf Zepplin was never finished the aircraft were completed and served out their time in Norway throughout the war. It also gives us an aircraft that the Axis players can use for carrier ops. We wanted to give those Axis fans at least something to slam onto a carrier deck

"We wanted to give those Axis fans at least something to slam onto a carrier deck" Kriegsmarine whiners? I would have to try the 109T just to see how it handled on a pitching, rolling deck in the North Atlantic. Might be fun!

Looking back at that development roadmap posted earlier, do not see the P47, strange.
