Downloaded and installed CoD and did a couple practice flights. The warning abut epileptic is probably good and I don't know what video differences it has than IL2 but it gave me a headache after about an hour of flying. Not too sure I like it that much, but that may be settings etc. Also can't figure out how to use the full mission planner. It is similar to IL2 but lacks all the objects. Can't select an airfield and populate it with flying aircraft so you can do practice flights. The big question is.... will this work without STEAM? It almost acts like steam is required in order to run the game.
Thanks for the link by the way.

Yes you need steam to run it, head over the ATAG page and get the mods that will make it much better. A good place to start is HEREModsI will be on TS about 330 or so to help if you need it.

Ok Centerline, here is the link @ ATAG, the defacto home of Team Fusion. The link is a Beginners Guide, with the basic setup instructions, and most importantly, the TF patches explained, linked to, as well as detailed instructions on installation and basic setup. Of course, TS with the other 20th members is always a quick way to get personal support. I don't think you have to register to read that thread/ forums, but I am sure that you will want to, because it is the single most important forums for Cliffs of Dover. Even the developers website and forums will point you to ATAG for continued and on-going support. here is the linkAnd remeber, CLoD without the TeamFusion mod, is as charming as a toothless smile.

I suspect I need to download and install all mods through 4.312. Will get started on that today. According to the download page hereThere is an all inclusive patch file for 64 bit Windows, at the bottom. No need to do a step by step patch install, just the one file should do it. I guess you got lucky ....... I had to do all the seperate downloads.

No that's just the files group in one download, you still have to install one by one.

All mods up through 4.312 are installed and appear to be running perfectly. Wanted go fly last night but wasn't feeling well enough. Spent 5 hours sitting in my desktop chair yesterday downloading and installing all the mods and I guess it didn't agree with my back as I had a pretty annoying ache in my right leg most of the evening. Just not fully recuperated from my back surgery I guess. While testing the mods I did get a chance to fly the Hurricane, Spit, and 109 and they seem to fly pretty well. Mot much difference from the standard IL=2, although I do miss the airspeed/heading/altitude readout. I'll try to meet you guys one of these evenings and see what this sim is really like when in a mission.
