Hello Pilots of the 20th BG ,
Item Breguet 14-> perhaps the AI gunner cut of his own Rudder , perhaps your group can check it

If you slow it down to .25 in youtube it looks as if the shot took the tail off from behind, the gunner never moved from shooting low. But it could be a recording bug.

Whoever that was in that back seat, either did not know how to operate the guns (no movement of guns), or he was doing it intentionally, either way, that is why I TRY to keep my backseat locked.
BW, the shots fired by the backseater went somewhere and hit something, my bet would be the tail section.
Landsberg, if you could link us to the stats page for that mission, we could find out defniitively weather or not the damage was done by the backseater.

stats.newwingstraining.com/sortie/518373/it was NOT a AI gunner . yes posible , if you study the log , switch and select the the gunner and you can see that he hit one time his own plane . It s not a AI gunner and so you can be save that not a AI gunner shot his own plane , that was my starting and thinking at first . greatings to the 20th BG

Landsberg, thanks for the link to the stats log.
The log is correct, and you are correct, There was no AI gunner. DK_Mysak_Bob was the backseater, and only hit RStern's Breguet 1 time.
So the video showing the guns aimed at and firing at the tail section, is decieving. Not a problem with the video but ....
This whole issue boils down to a major graphics glitch in ROF.
So to answer your original question, no, the AI gunner did not shoot the tail section off, as there was no AI gunner.
And, it is your kill.

We have said howdy a couple of times, in CLoD, or maybe it was DCS, or both. But we did it as GreyWolf and BlackWolf, anyway, " Howdy " We weren't hiding, I kept you on my friends list. and I am sure that BW did too. But now that you have figured out who we are, and where to find us, feel free to wing up anytime you would like. I can not fly for a few days, the ole lady is getting out of hospital and I have lots of stuff to do before that CAN happen, and besides babysitting my grand-daughter this weekend, I am also doing that house-husband stuff. But hopefully will be able to get airborne soon. It is really good to hear from you, and welcome to the forums. GreyWolf
