For those of us who "fly a desk and computer" after years you start to think "Hey I could do that for real"! If I did it would go just like this.... I love what the guy says at the end of his flight..perfect!

I am ultralight shopping now. I won't pull the trigger until summer I think. Mud when I get it you'll have to come up, we can take turns holding the beers while the other one is flying! Oh I will mow my lawn and get the dogs out of the way first.

I'll be there, shit, maybe I'll just play the lottery with the x-mas money and get one as well if I win haha. Or we rent a place to build one somewhere at about the halfway point. South Boston looks like a mid-ish point haha.

If I buy one this summer I'll fly it to South Boston and we can have fun from there. If five gallons of gas will get me there! I got a few I'm looking at. I want one with the rescue parachute just in case. Two seater is better but might not be in the budget.

Oh we would land close to where we could fish so bring your poles and tackle. An ultralight with fishing pole holders on the front...lol yeah not redneck unless we got a buck strapped on the back too!

do they make ultra lights with floats?
If we want to redneck-ify it we could always just tie an inflatable raft to the bottom, the pull he cord and "deploy the landing gear" hahaha
Damn I need money...

They do make them with floats but I like your neck-ify idea better.

Man I just realized something, if I sold all my sim gear, I probably could afford an ultralight.

I know, I know.. part 103 and all but a two seater would be cool. If I sold all my gear..well the wife would be happy..but that's not going to happen!
